What you see in the pictures is what you get. If you are customizing it, it is yours to do with what you wish. If you decide to restore the car, parts are readily available from a number of Buick aftermarket vendors and are easy to obtain. I don't want to be one of those people with a huge car collection of " I'll get around to them some day cars ". However it will be years before I can get around to working on it with the other cars I am currently restoring so realistically it has to go. I bought this car years ago to customize and turn into a lowered and de-chromed street rod anyway because I liked the body shape. I have not spent any time doing anything to it other than changing out the fluids, and it is just stored outdoors under a cover. It was running and yard driving recently but the wiring harness shorted so it currently does not run or drive. The changed body style you are familiar with for 1949 did not start until mid year 1949 according to the Buick Club of America. Yes it is a 1949 - see body tag from GM ( and it is titled as a 1949) So if you are going to email me and tell me it is a 1946-1948 don't bother since you are wrong.

This is either a car needing a total restoration or a car you can customize to your personal taste. Better to be surprised that it exists in the car or trunk than be disappointed. Assume if you don't see something it isn't there.
